My name is Jasmine and I am a 37-year-old Rwandan woman, in 2016 when I was living in Bujumbura I fell in love with a young man who was an officer in the Burundian army, we fell in love and agreed to live together. We had a wonderful wedding and immediately went to the honeymoon. 2 weeks later my husband was immediately called by his officer and told him that there was a job mission he had to go to immediately. He said goodbye and left, telling me that he would be back soon, but 3 weeks later he called me and told me that they had immediately sent him on a peacekeeping mission in Somalia. Three months later I received bad news that my husband had died in a helicopter crash while on that mission. After we buried him at his job, they gave me a lot of money and social security and his family found out that there is nothing left for them and they wanted to kill me saying that the money was theirs. Seeing the hardships I immediately returned home trying to rebuild and heal the wounds of losing my husband. Now I feel ready to give someone else a seat in my heart which is why I want a guy we can love and live with.
